This is my first blog post on this brand new website. And I am excited, anxious, happy & even a little scared.

Coming from a programming background, it’s imperative for me to start my first blog post with the words – Hello World. These two words have given millions like me the necessary confidence boost needed to learn a new programming language.

Hello World program teaches an extremely useful mantra – Start small, start now. I believe that for learning or starting anything new, it is very important to keep things simple and small at the beginning instead of making it perfect.

Today, with this very first smallish little blog-post, I start my blogging journey. A journey where I dream of writing a lot on various topics such as product development, design, marketing, entrepreneurship and indie-hacking in general.

Why I Created This Website?

So over the years, I have been working, reading (mostly online) and thinking a lot! Many a times the practical experiences never matches with what you learn from reading and then it gives you a kind of dizzy feeling where the mind is full of contradictory ideas.

Due to this I have been pondering a lot on how to organize my thoughts and ideas. After a lot of research, I have come to a conclusion that writing helps in organizing the thoughts which in turn leads to refinement of ideas.

So my plan is to write down my ideas, work on it and share it on this blog. This should help me in 3 ways:

1. Writing down will improve understanding of the subject and will improve clarity.
2. If this blog gets few readers, there is a possibility of getting a conversation going with the readers and thereby contribute in improving the subject understanding.
3. If nothing of the above works, at-least this blog should help me in improving my writing skills.

What do I plan to blog about?

My life mostly revolves around technology, software, product design & development. So you’ll find me writing about these topics. Since most of my work experience is with startups, I will also write on topics about entrepreneurship, business ideas, SaaS, e-commerce and marketing.

So the overall idea with this blog is to share my life and experiences in an honest helpful way. As Alan Watts, the famous British Philosopher said, the only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
